Suffolk Chamber is working with a range of public partners to host workshops aimed at helping local businesses to better understand how to take advantage of local procurement processes and procedures.
Wednesday 22 January 8.30 -11.30
Sudbury Venue TBC
Free to attend – Booking is Essential
Join us at one of our workshops where we are delighted to be hearing from a line-up of expert speakers:
Rex Clarke MCIPS, Head of Governance and Standards, Seven Force Strategic Collaboration, Suffolk Constabularies
Mark Fisher, Procurement Manager, East Suffolk Council
Includes why the public sector tenders, understanding the processes, where to find opportunities, hints and tips on tendering
Jane Garnett MCIPS, Procurement Lead, NHS West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group, NHS Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group.
A practical interactive workshop where syndicates will prepare a response to a tender requirement which will then be scored by another syndicate – may the best bidder win!
Following on from the speaking sessions you will then have the opportunity to visit procurement representatives from public partners to understand accessing their tendering systems and tier 1 suppliers, ask more detailed questions and exchange details if you wish.
This is an excellent opportunity to come along and help better understand how to take advantage of local procurement processes and procedures.
