A number of SZC’s registered suppliers were invited to attend a ‘Meet the buyer webinar’.
The suppliers heard from key speakers:

- Tom McGarry, Head of Stakeholder Engagement, Sizewell C
- John Brooks – Delivery Director- Site Establishment & Operation
The webinar was followed by an opportunity to engage with key members of the Sizewell C procurement team to discuss specific work packages in an intimate, 20 minute 1-2-1 meeting. In addition to the exclusive 1-2-1 meetings, an open room networking arena was available where suppliers were able to ask more general questions about the Sizewell C project.

With recent changes regarding the COVID-19 unlocking regulations, we took the decision to move the planned event in July to a virtual event. In addition, we also had to take the decision to limit the work packages and number of buyers to a smaller, more defined set of parameters.
We are already planning our events for the Autumn, where a wider variety of areas and work packages will be covered. We will send out more information on these events in the very near future.
