NSAN – Nuclear Bursary open for applications

The Nuclear Bursary provides financial support to individuals for education and training opportunities to help with starting or furthering their professional career in nuclear.  This round of the Nuclear Bursary is focussed on providing training support to individuals working in nuclear that have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Have you been furloughed or made redundant due to Covid-19?

• Are you employed by an SME and looking to upskill?

• An employer with an apprentice or graduate not currently deployed and/ or at risk of redundancy due to Covid-19?

The Covid-19 pandemic continues to be challenging situation for employers and employees across the UK nuclear industry. This Nuclear Bursary round will provide financial support for training to those that have been furloughed or made redundant from a company working in the nuclear sector, as well as supporting employees of SMEs[1] looking to upskill or develop new skills. The bursary is also available to support graduates and apprentices who are at risk of redundancy or need further support due to the effects of Covid-19.

The Nuclear Bursary Scheme, managed by NSAN and funded by the NDA and ECITB, supports the delivery of a number of the NSSG’s[2]  key themes including supporting apprenticeships, transferability and exciting the next generation.
