BEE Anglia grants support Norfolk & Suffolk businesses towards Net Zero targets

Since 2016, Business Energy Efficiency (BEE) Anglia has supported over 1000 businesses across Suffolk and Norfolk, to understand and reduce their carbon impacts.

As more and more businesses start thinking about their route to Net Zero carbon, our independent and trusted advisors are here to help.  We can work with you to identify your current impacts and plan the most appropriate measures to reduce them, including scoping costs and return on investment.

BEE Anglia is delivered in a partnership between Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils, Groundwork and NWES.  Our combined financial and environmental expertise offers a one-stop-shop for businesses seeking to cut their carbon and energy costs.

Our grants have already invested more than £1.5m into more than 240 businesses across the two counties.

Funds have supported everything from community centres to factories to restaurants and shops, with technologies from insulation to solar panels and electric vans.

“Without the grant funding from BEE Anglia I wouldn’t have been able to purchase as many new vehicles all at once, knowing that the vehicles are much more energy efficient the fuel savings are immediate – it’s a win win situation!

All the BEE Anglia team are so helpful through the whole process I would thoroughly recommend.”

Mark J. Streeter, Managing Director, Courtesy Taxis, Norwich.

Grants will cover up to 40% of the costs of any carbon reduction measure.  BEE Anglia’s team of advisors are on hand to discuss options and support the application measure.

Full details about the eligibility criteria associated with the funding, and how the grant process works can be found at www.beeanglia.org. Or contact our team on 01473 350 370 / beeanglia@groundwork.org.uk.

But act fast – enquiries need to be lodged by the end of 2021 to be considered, and all funding is awarded on a first come first served basis.

The BEE Anglia project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and is being delivered across the region through a partnership of Suffolk County Council, Norfolk County Council, Groundwork and NWES.

Ipswich Accident Repair Centre are just one of the 244 businesses to have received a grant from BEE Anglia already.
