The Sizewell C Project has now launched the portal for all tender releases, using the well-established forum ‘Compete For’
‘Compete For’ will be the location for all opportunities related to the build of Sizewell C. In addition to the main tender releases, this platform will also feature information on:
• Awardee information
• Project news
• Upcoming events
• Important updates and information on the project
• Links to other aspects critical to the project (Jobs service etc)
We will continue to run our existing portal alongside ‘Compete For’ for the foreseeable future as the project transitions. You can continue to use both database’s to find other businesses who are interested in Sizewell C
Suffolk Chamber of Commerce will continue to maintain and manage both platforms and will keep all registered businesses up to date with information via the website, emails & social media, along with info through our events programme
The important next step is for businesses to register on the new portal. With timescales in mind and the immediacy at which some opportunities will be loaded live on to ‘Compete For’, we are urging all business to register on ‘Compete For’ as soon as possible. We hoped to migrate existing data from our current supply chain portal but this has just not been possible. However, your work on the existing portal has not been in vain as we continue to use this for ongoing requests and scoping exercises and will continue to use this data for some time.
If you are already registered with ‘Compete For’ on other projects (such as HS2), then please ensure you re visit and register your interest with the Sizewell C project specifically to receive alerts and information about the project
Rest assured, we will be continuing to monitor the platform and will keep relevant businesses informed of tender opportunities that are relevant to them, but ‘Compete For’ will be the long-term main point of reference for all Supply Chain related activity for Sizewell C

In the near future, we will be running training sessions for using ‘Compete For’ and how to maximise the benefit of this platform. We will also host “how to” videos on the website to help guide and educate through this process
Please bear with us in these early days, as we are also transitioning our work across to the new platform and are looking to learn quickly to ensure we can best support you. Rest assured we are still some months away from construction starting, but the sooner businesses can sign up on ‘Compete For’, the better
